Go Craig!

Congrats to Jaron for guessing that Phillip would be the first one safe!!  A BIG pat on the back (or kick in the pants) to Craig for guessing the bottom three correctly and that Heejun was going home.  That was 250 points for him, jetting him up from last place to 5th place.  It's still a close game, anyone could win.  If you need or want to make changes to your top 10, feel free to do so anytime, see the scoring procedures for details, if needed. Killer Kasia

Everyone better watch out for Kasia, from 10th place to 4th place in one week!  Goes to show that everyone is still in this game.  The point spread between 4th place and 10th place is only 143 points!!!  Both Kasia and Trashley (Troy and Ashley, for those of you confused by the name) guessed all three of the bottom 3 and who was going home, Congrats!!  


New Bonus Question:  During next week's elimination show (Thurs 3/29) who will be the first contestant to find out they are safe.  Seacrest usually pulls a group of contestants down, no matter who's in the group, or what order they are called to center stage in, who will be the very first set back to the safety of the couch.  Submit your answer before the elimination show. A correct guess is worth 50 points!

What a great show!! No one had a Billy Joel song, so no song choice bonus points.  I think it's gonna be hard to pick a bottom three this week.  Best of Luck!

Congrats Jaron and Trashley for big steps up in the ranks this week!! The two of them, Wilson and our current leader, Brian all guessed that Shannon was going home.  Also always double check my figures on the scoresheet, please let me know if I make a mistake. (I'm sure it was an accident.)

Today's lesson:  If you want to be an American Idol, try not to get arrested, if you do get arrested tell them your name is Randy Jackson.  

 Overall I thought that was a pretty good show, looks like our contestants are finally getting their sea legs. But who was the shakiest? Submit your bottom three and also who you think is going home. 50 points for each bottom three and 100 for a correct elimination guess. Yes, "NO ONE" could be an option this week. Seacrest said the "bottom will be up for elimination" but what exactly does that mean??

The season is finally underway.  Thanks for joining.  We've already started things off with a bang, Brian, Craig and Amy, all had one of their bonus songs sung this week.  Both Brian and Amy guessed all three elimination slots correctly.  (yes, I'm going to refer to myself in 3rd person all season)

FYI, You can change your top 10 at any time, FOR A PRICE.  If you want to switch the order of 
2 contestants who are ALREADY IN your top 10, the switch will cost you 50 points.  
If you want to bring in a contestant who was NOT IN your top 10, that will cost you 100 points.
Example:  My #2 got eliminated, but my #7 is going strong with lots of momentum.  
I switch those two for a price of 50 points, and now my new #2 is getting me lots of points.    
Example:  My #1 was eliminated.  I want someone I didn't originally choose to be my new #1.  I plug the new contestant in for a price of 100 points, and I'm ready to rock.

So do we have enough people to do this this year? What do you guys think? If you'd like to make changes to your top 10, or haven't submitted your top 10, now is your last chance to switch it up. After tomorrow any changes will require a point reduction. It looks like they are changing things up a bit!! They have adopted the sing off elimination style, the bottom 2 will be put in front of the judges to decide who goes home. Let's pick a bottom girl and a bottom guy, if you guess right 50 points each. Then guess who is going home for 100 points. Good luck!

It's not too late to join, we had a very slow start last week, easy for anyone to catch up, but you have to get 5 songs in before Wed nights show.  After Wednesday night's performance show, we will update/revise a top ten list, This will be your last chance to modify with out a point penalty.  Also we will do a bottom three and guess who is going home.
