Your top 10

Why is everyone so busy this week??  My family has a wedding going on and life seems to be going a million miles an hour for everyone.  Here's what we are going to do.  We are going to have a "soft" opening to the league.  It will definitely benefit you to get your picks in this week, but if you can't join us until next week, it's not the end of the world.  Plus, We need more players.  Pass this on to your friends and family!!


Here's what needs to be done and when you can/should/must do it!


1.  Pick 5 songs you think will be sung sometime this season.  It's best to get these song choices in before the first live show on Tues the 28th, because 13 songs will be sung that night and 12 more the next night. You can still join next week, you just missed out on all those chances for your songs to be sung. But full point value is still available for your 5 songs.  (Submit by leaving a comment to this, or the previous post) 


2.  Pick your top 10.  To get points for this week, this needs to be done before the Thursday (3/1) night's results show.  But since this will be the first week the point value is fairly low.  We will allow changes to your top 10 in week 2, WITHOUT any point deductions (soft opening).  If you haven't seen the audition rounds and want back ground information on any contestant click here:  Top 24    (Submit your top 10 as a comment to this post) 


3.  Wednesday night or Thursday day, any time before the results show, pick a bottom three boys and a bottom 3 girls as well as which boy and which girl you think are going home. Since this is a soft opening and we still want people to be able to join next week, point values will be smaller than usual.  10 points for each bottom three you pick, and 50 points if you get the eliminated contestant correct.  (think of it as a bonus this week, next week the big money will start)  I will post again about this after the performance shows.

Getting your songs and top 10 picked is the hardest, most time consuming part, it's a lot at once, but after that it will be much easier.
